Cycling and waterfalls day trip in Mae Taeng

Guided cycling trip in the flat and scenic Mae Ngat valley, on the outskirt of the National Park, then have fun and splash at the "sticky" waterfall.
Participants will spend a rewarding day cycling and discovering the traditional way of life in this fertile valley irrigated by the water of the Mae Ngat dam. Pedal between rice paddies, plantations and villages. Slow riding pace with many stops at points of interests. Learn about rice farming, take a glimpse at the dam and lake view, and get a cultural insights at the spectacular Wat Ban Den temple. Partake in a nature discovery including a succulent Thai lunch in a tropical garden. Complete the trip by a fun and refreshing experience at the Buatong waterfall (Sticky waterfal) before returning to Chiang Mai.

Please note
    • Participants must be reasonably fit with previous cycling experience.
    • Timings mentioned are estimations only and some factors cannot be controlled (e.g. traffic conditions). Cycling route can vary according to the season; our guides do their best to let you discover the most scenic places.
    • Suitable for younger children able to cycle, as we can provide small bicycle frames and helmets (130 cm height /24" wheels bikes).
    • No public transportation nearby.
    • Not recommended for people with back problems.
    • Pick up at your hotel. Please call the tour provider to reconfirm your hotel location and meeting time. 
    • Participants understand that this trip is mainly a physical activity and therefore must be reasonably fit and in good physical condition.
    • Pick-up from your Chiang Mai hotel between approximately 8:30am to 8:45am, subject to traffic conditions.
    What to bring

      Outdoor clothing/sportswear. Hat, sunglasses, sunscreen and mosquito repellent. Good footwear as trainers for cycling. Short pants or padded cycling pant. Bring also a swimsuit or short for the waterfall fun, as well as a small towel.
